August 13, 2009 : Adlabs Films, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group, on Wednesday, announced that it would raise around Rs 600 crore through a rights issue, reports Our Bureau. The funds will be used for expanding its exhibition screens to over 570 from existing 428 in the next one year, setting up art studios, buying equipment and for setting up media business process outsourcing units, the company said in a media release. The price and share ratio of the proposed rights issue would be announced in due course, the release added.
